Meet Our Team
Envisioning Green
Steven & Erika
Steven and Erika, husband and wife duo, are putting their heads together to make sure that your space comes together exactly how you want it to. Married in March 2014, they have devoted much of their time and energy into making sure that they can do what they love, making their clients happy.
Steven started Envisioning Green (then known as Steven’s Lawn & Landscape) at the age of 12 being pulled behind his mom’s mini van with his mower to each of his clients’ houses. How far this company has come! He lives and breathes this work and couldn’t see himself doing anything else. He obtained an Associates in Science and one in Horticulture (specializing in landscape design & turf management) and since then has gone on to achieve his Concrete Paver Installer certification, his fertilization applicators license, obtained an NCMA certification, and gotten certification through the National Association of Landscape Professionals. Envisioning Green, as well as Steven, has been recognized in several publications. In his spare time, Steven likes to fly fish, volunteer in the media department at their church, and work at making their house into a home.

Erika has been a part of Envisioning Green since July 2013 but has started full time since graduating with her Bachelors in Nursing in May of 2014. She is constantly listening to webinars through the National Association of Landscape Professionals to help hone our business practices and has received her Concrete Paver Installer certification as well. Erika helps to ensure that things run smoothly. She is also the face behind the computer screen, handling all of our social media accounts, and also designing and executing much of our marketing materials. In her spare time, Erika loves to host parties and plan events at our office, is a worship leader at their church, and play with her and Steven’s four rescue dogs.
The Real Bosses of Envisioning Green
Lindsey
Lindsey, our office manager, has been in the office management industry in some way since 2011 and in the green industry (and part of our team) since 2014. Lindsey takes care of most things around the office and will be the pleasant voice you hear rst when you call. She is a volunteer at Willoughby Heritage Farm in Collinsville where they teach children and adults the inner workings of a farm and nature. She also likes to sew and embroider, play with her three dogs, and take them for hikes with her husband. She is a very family oriented person and loves spending time with them. Just so you know, her favorite food is anything that involves pasta!

Justin
Justin, our General Manager, has been in the industry since 2018 and in the construction industry since the 90’s. Justin, alongside the rest of our team, takes care of a lot of the day to day running of the company. He oversees crew schedules and training and much more. Justin is a member of the National Association of Landscape Professionals and is really eager to learn and grow in this industry. In his spare time, Justin loves woodworking and yardwork/gardening. He also considers himself a very good cook and cooks all meals for his family. His favorite food would have to be Mexican food. He considers his wife his very best friend and met her when she was 18. She was “the one that got away until they eventually reconnected and love everyday of their lives as the Brady Bunch.

Kylie
Kylie, our HR Manager & Office Assistant, has been in the industry since 2018. Kylie is in charge of all things HR and is a integral part of our day to day operations in the office. She is also one of the pleasant voices you’ll hear when calling the office. Kylie is a member of the National Association of Landscape Professionals and is eager to learn all she can about the industry. In her spare time, she loves to read, watch movies, go to the gym, and spend time with family. When asked what her favorite food is, she said that it would have to be anything spicy, especially wings. Kylie loves all kinds of music and loves to go to concerts. Her favorite is rock/metal and really anything old.

Charles, one of our Landscape Designers, has been in the industry since 2015. Charles is responsible for some of our landscape designs and sales. Charles is a member of the National Association of Landscape Professionals and has learned a lot about plants and landscape design during his time at Southwestern Illinois College. In his spare time, Charles enjoys snowboarding, watching sports or movies, hiking and camping, and spending time with family. His favorite food definitely depends on the day. Something interesting about him is that he was born with 6 fingers and still has a little bit of the 6th finger left on his hand!

Peter, our Landscape Designer & Horticulturist, has been in the industry since 2012. Peter is responsible for landscape design as well as providing plant education and research to our team. Peter is a member of the National Association of Landscape Professionals and has learned a lot about plants and landscape design during his time at Southwestern Illinois College. In his spare time, Peter enjoys rock climbing, spinning poi, playing guitar & piano, hiking, and gardening. His favorite food would have to be fried chicken with hot sauce. Something interesting about him is that he was a homeowner at 23.
