What Is a Fiberglass Pool?

A fiberglass pool is a pre-engineered pool shell manufactured in a controlled environment and delivered to your property as one complete piece. The shell is constructed using multiple layers of fiberglass and protective materials, then finished with a smooth, durable surface.
Unlike a gunite pool, which is formed and finished entirely on site, a fiberglass pool is selected from a collection of established shapes and sizes. Many models include integrated steps, benches, tanning ledges, and other features built directly into the shell.
