This project transformed the Koppeis property into a resort-style outdoor environment with custom water features, premium paver patios, luxury landscaping, and a poolside recreation zone, creating a visually stunning and functional outdoor living destination.
Project Vision
The Koppeis project was designed to create a luxury outdoor environment that blends natural stone, premium hardscaping, and curated landscaping into a cohesive estate-style backyard. The goal was to elevate the pool area into a high-end outdoor retreat that feels like a private resort, with layered textures, flowing water, and seamless pathways connecting the property.
This design focused on creating visual impact from every angle while ensuring the space is functional, low-maintenance, and enjoyable for family gatherings, entertaining, and everyday relaxation.
Custom Water Feature and Natural Stone Detailing
A multi-tiered custom water feature was constructed using natural stone to create movement, sound, and visual drama. Cascading water adds a calming ambiance while enhancing the luxury feel of the landscape.
Natural boulder accents and stacked stone elements were integrated to give the project an organic, high-end aesthetic that feels timeless and rooted in nature.
Premium Paver Patio and Walkway System
High-end pavers were installed throughout the property to create structured pathways and gathering areas. Decorative borders and custom layout patterns add architectural interest and elevate the hardscape design.
The walkways connect the pool, landscape features, and home, guiding guests through the property with a resort-style flow.
Poolside Landscape and Waterslide Integration
The pool area was enhanced with layered landscaping, stone accents, and a custom waterslide integrated into the natural stone hillside. This feature creates a playful and luxurious recreational element, turning the pool into a centerpiece experience rather than just a backyard amenity.
The surrounding landscape softens the hardscape and adds privacy, texture, and seasonal interest.
Tiered Landscape Beds and Estate-Style Planting Design
Tiered stone walls were built to create planting terraces, allowing for depth, elevation changes, and structured garden zones. A curated mix of ornamental grasses, flowering shrubs, and accent trees provides year-round visual interest and color.
The layered planting design frames the water features and walkways, giving the property a manicured, estate-quality appearance.
