JOHNS — FULL CASE STUDY
The Johns project transformed a sloped backyard into a sophisticated outdoor living environment built for entertaining and everyday enjoyment. The design centers around a custom stone outdoor kitchen with premium appliances and a built-in bar, creating a natural gathering point for family and guests.
A sunken fire pit lounge with contemporary seating provides a warm, intimate space to relax in the evenings, while multi-level paver patios create distinct zones for cooking, dining, and lounging. Integrated landscape lighting highlights the stonework, steps, and surrounding features, extending the usability of the space well after sunset.
To complete the experience, a covered lower-level patio with swing seating adds a quiet retreat overlooking the property, blending architecture, hardscape, and landscape into a cohesive luxury backyard environment.
This project showcases how thoughtful design and craftsmanship can turn unused space into a high-end outdoor extension of the home.
